Community Satisfaction Survey

The Community Satisfaction Survey is an opportunity for local residents and ratepayers to tell City of Newcastle (CN) how we're performing, what we can do better and where we should prioritise our efforts.

The survey asks a range of questions, including:

  • overall satisfaction with the performance of City of Newcastle
  • satisfaction with the standard of services provided to the community
  • satisfaction with 45 individual services and facilities across arts & culture, coastal & aquatics, community, economic development, environment, infrastructure & planning, parks & recreation, planning & development and waste
  • preferred information channels


How the results are used

The survey results are used to inform our planning and delivery of services, projects and programs; ensuring that our activities are aligned with the needs and expectations of our community.
